The building that John DeSotelle Studio and the Nuance Theatre Co. have called their home is closing for massive renovations.

After 5 years on the 3rd floor of the Times Square Arts Center at 300 43rd Street, we are moving to the 4th floor of a new location on 9th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen.

The lease is signed, the deposit is paid and we are in the midst of tearing out the ceiling and walls and building a new Studio home with the NuBox Theatre and a second studio in our new space, along with a prop room, lounge and 2 bathrooms!

The month of December continues to be hectic - jam-packed with ongoing classes, rehearsals and productions as well as packing boxes and moving walls, doors, risers, chairs, tables, furniture, props, books plus more - everything but the kitchen sink! Sadly, the kitchen sink has to remain behind.....

Periodically we will be posting updates and photos on the website, facebook and twitter regarding the progress of construction and readying the new location. So stay tuned and check back often.

Here is the floor plan. There will be a few modifications - but this is the idea....

Here is the raw space.  The ceiling and old walls are down.  Now we have to build out the individual rooms.
